What Is a Fast 50 Company?
Each year, Utah Business celebrates the Fast 50 companies for their rapid revenue growth and business strategies, as well as the entrepreneurial spirit that inspires their success.
“We’re excited to be recognized by Utah Business magazine for our growth and achievements,” said Jason Murray, CEO of PACS. “But the real recognition belongs to our fantastic team for their dedicated work and innovative spirit. Our people are our best asset, and we couldn’t have grown without everyone’s help.”
PACS was founded by Mark Hancock and Jason Murray in 2012 and has grown year-over-year ever since then. They currently support more than 150 skilled nursing facilities in seven states, and provide back office administrative support, including legal, risk, compliance, payroll, finance, human resources, communications, and more.
“We’re grateful for the privilege to be recognized among the fastest-growing businesses in Utah.” said Murray. “Although the ongoing pandemic continues to present its unique challenges for us, our focus on serving our local communities has helped us to stay grounded and successful even in a challenging economy. We’re excited for what the future holds for PACS.”
About the Utah Business Fast 50
Utah Business assesses in-state companies that have been doing business for at least two years and selects companies for inclusion on the Fast 50 list based on a combination of five-year compound annual growth rate and total revenue for the prior year. Businesses included on the Fast 50 are vetted by an independent auditor for financial accuracy and are ranked according to level of growth over the past year.
PACS Provides a wide array of back-office support services to skilled nursing facilities, reducing administrative burdens on facilities so that their local leadership and care teams can focus more of their efforts on the care, well-being, and quality of life of their patients and residents. The PACS team consists of over 100 professionals who provide accounting, finance, human resources, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, legal, risk management, information technology and other business advice and support from its headquarters in Farmington, UT and satellite offices across the United States. PACS provides back office administrative support to more than 150 independently operated skilled nursing facilities in seven states.
