 The PACS Team Video Transcript

I do it because I love people. I love to help them get through hard times.

Life happens to all of us, and sometimes all it takes is just one person to help someone.

There’s a tangible feeling of caring when you walk into a PACS facility. We benefit from attracting the best staff.

I worked at other facilities, and the difference with PACS, it’s night and day.

PACS has given me the freedom to be able to practice the way that I wanna practice.

They listen to you and they give you the tools and resources to be successful, and I really enjoy working with the team here.

It’s a team effort that’s focused on the patient and the patient’s goals to get home.

We have a lot of people in this facility who really will give the shirt off their back to you and that’s what type of hearts they have.

I’m a born caregiver, I’ve been doing this for 30 years. You have a heart for or you don’t.

What brings me to work every day is that passion that I am growing and developing the staff so that staff feels that their career can grow.

Within PACS, I feel very empowered. They’ve watched me go from an admissions manager to the director of nursing and that’s huge.

PACS has really helped recruit better leaders, not only clinically, but back office support in the facilities.

A new administrator, someone that’s not experienced shadows, an experienced administrator to learn the business, to understand what it is to be in skilled nursing, and then eventually take over a facility as the administrator.

A lot of people find their second home here in skilled nursing. They get to experience healthcare in a great new way, in a really meaningful way.

They really introduced me into the world and you become addicted to it. I don’t wanna do anything else.

In our mission statement, there’s the word fun. I’ll never forget the first time I heard that. I was like, “What kind of mission statement is that?” But it’s true.

PACS emphasizes the culture of morale of the facility. That’s part of the secret sauce for the company.

I feel like I’m being appreciated. It just feels great. You feel happy, you feel like you wanna come to work.

It’s just a trickle down effect, and that eventually trickles down to giving better patient care.

I am so self-aware of my purpose and that is to serve.

It is the most fulfilling job that I could ever imagine working in and doing.

Oh, I love my job. Absolutely love it.

We’re all trying to strive to be the best we can be in the community that we’ve been given. It takes a community to take care of these folks.

This is more than just a paycheck. They are there because they love what they’re doing. They love the patients. They love working in an environment where they can see meaningful impact.
